Humanoid Football at Marienplatz 🤖⚽ We took our humanoid robot to Marienplatz, in Lederhosen, of course. From children to the elderly, people stopped, watched, filmed and came over to interact. Our robot shook hands, posed for Reels and showed how humanoids can kick and play with a football. The reactions probably tell the story best: „Mei, is der liab! Der hod ja sogar a Lederhosn!““Oh, he’s cute! He’s even wearing Lederhosen!” „Geh, schau! Der spuit ja Fußball!““Look! It actually plays football!” „Der braucht ja bloß no a Maß.“ 🍺“Now all it needs is a Maß of beer.” People asked us to bring the robot in front of their stores, make Reels together, shake hands with customers and whether it could become a waiter. What stood out was the interest from young to old, including many people with little previous exposure to robotics. That’s s what we want to change. As Bavaria’s first humanoid football team, we want to compete in autonomous robot football while bringing robotics closer to the people around us. 🤖⚽
